Lucía Mas León

Spain

Born in Madrid on 10.02.2005. When she was 5 years old, she studied at the Municipal School of Music and then at the Maria Victoria de los Ángeles Conservatory. She does her professional studies at Adolfo Salazar Conservatory (Madrid) with the teacher Farid Fasla, she has finished course five at the moment. She has received advice from various teachers, such as Lara Lev, Tatiana Samouil, Eeva Koskinen, Aitzol Iturriagagoitia, Miguel Colom, and Anne Marie North among others. In 2016 she made an educational stay in the United States, where she was part of the String Project of the University of Texas at Austin, and she was selected for the Texas State Student Orchestra. She has been a member of the Camerata JORCAM, Young Orchestra of the Community of Madrid since its inception. In 2020 she was a finalist in the IX City of Vigo Contest (Spain). In 2021 she received the Grand Prix and the award for the best performance of a polish piece at the III HEDWIG PRIZE International Competition for young violinists (Poland).
