03.04.2008 Nil İpek Şabi, born in Ankara, started her music education at the age of 4 with piano. In 2013, she won the Bilkent University Music Preparatory Primary and Secondary School and was selected as a violin student. She is still a 8th grade student in the same school. "Nil İpek Şabi" started with violin education "Muhammed Jan Türdiev" and continues with BSO orchestra member since 2016 and also with "Elena Rıhsi" lecturer of Bilkent University Music and Performing Arts Faculty. Nil İpek Şabi received the honorary certificate in the Australian Children's Orchestra in Melbourne, Australia in 2016. She received the first prize and Jury Special Prize in the 2nd category in the "Josef Micka Violin Competition" held on 24.03.2017 in Prague. She was invited to the Kalamata Music Festival in 2017 and received a masterclass from Felix Froschammer. Nil İpek Şabi, who won Adnan Saygun Success scholarship in March of 2018, will compete in the Kocian Violin Competition to be held in Prague in May with scholarship support. In the International Kocian Violin Competition held in Prague Ústí nad Orlicí in May, 1st prize in the first category was awarded to the 1st jury of the child jury. And she was awarded first mention price of professional jury. Nil İpek Şabi won first prize and nomination of grand prix prize in the first category of “International Heirs of Orpheus Music Competition” in Albena, Bulgaria between September 4-11, 2018. On January 4, 2019, she won the first place in the category A in the International Mozart Competition in Tbilisi. March 8-12, 2019 International Arthur Grumiaux Violin Competition held in Brussels took third place in the category A. On April 19, 2019, she was accepted as soloist with Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra. She attended Stephen Picard's master class on May 29, 2019. On June 27-28, 2019, she received the masterclass education of Clara Zahler, organized by Bilkent University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts. In July 2019, a masterclass from Herbert Greenberg and Perenyi Eszer was realized as part of the Ilona Feher Violin Festival in Budapest, Hungary. She received Masterclass training from Prof. Itzhak Rashkovsky and Prof Ani Schnarch in January 2020
