Mykhailo Synchyshyn

Born in 2010, Ukraine. Mykhailo started playing the cello at the age of 6. From the age of 9 he studied with the teacher Zamkov Artem. Mykhailo is a winner of numerous competitions, including international ones supported by «Vere Music Fund», Ukraine. Since March 2022, Mykhailo has been studying with Professor Denis Severin, Zakhar Bron Music School, Zurich. At the age of 7 he won second prize at the 28th Concours Flame 2017 competition, Paris. At the age of 8 he won an absolute prize at the Filadelfia Music Festival competition in Italy. At the age of 9, Mykhailo won the prize for the best young musician under 17 at the International Music Competition IV Agustin Aponte, Tenerife, Spain and he received the first prize at the competition in Lithuania, INTERNATIONAL KLAIPĖDA CELLO COMPETITION 2019. At the age of 10 he won 3rd prize among pianists, violinists and cellists at the Young Ludwig Youth Music Competition 2020, Berlin (online). In October 2021 he received the first prize and a special prize for the best performance of a Ukrainian work, the Third International Competition for Young Violinists, Violinists and Cellists “Lviv Virtuoso”, Lviv. 2020-2021 he actively participated in master classes given by Alexii Shadrin, Denis Severin and Santiago Cañón-Valencia.
