Chiara Volpato Redi
Chiara Volpato Redi was born in Padua (Italy) in 2004. She is part of
Zinaida Gilels Violin School, coordinated by Prof. Maria Caterina
Carlini. She studies at the Academy of Music in Portogruaro, with
Prof. Ilya Grubert and Elliot Lawson. She also attends the State
Conservatory of Music, in Padua.
She attended masterclasses with Sonig Tchackerian, Olexandr
Semchuck, Khullip Jeung (at Julliard School , in New York), Mirei
Yamada, Pavel Vernikov Davide Alogna, Giorgio Di Crosta, Federico
Guglielmo and Tommaso Luison .
Chiara Volpato Redi is a winner of several music competitions:
Piove di Sacco, Bardolino, Riccione, Moncalieri, “Firenze lirica”, Val
di Sole, Spinea, “Salieri prize”, Cittadella, Occhiobello, Villorba,
Palmanova, Rome, Ozegna, Valsesia. She won second prize at the
11th Grumiaux International Competition in Brussels (Belgium) , at
Crescendo Competition at Carnegie Hall of New York and at
Rubinstein Violin Juniores Competition in Dusseldorf (Germany).
Chiara won third prize at Kocian Competition in Czech Republic.
She won first prize at Grand Prize Virtuoso in Brussels, at
BOZAR(Centre of Fine Arts).
She played at International Music Festival in Malta.
At Grumiaux Competition she was chosen, from 89 competitors, to
partecipate to ArtDialog Festival in Biel/Bienne (Switzerland),
organized by Svetlana Vasylyeva. Thanks to ArtDialog Festival she
was able to play in Madrid (Spain), in concerts organized by
Mendmaa Dorzhin and in Berlin (Germany),in concerts organized
by Zoya Nevgodovska. She is part of Young Classic Dialog.
