Mirella Ziegler
Mirella Ziegler from Berlin was born in Berlin in November 2005
and started playing the violin at the age of 5.
Today she is a student at the Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach High
School for musically gifted students in Berlin and is taught by
Zoya Nevgodovska from HfM Hanns Eisler.
Master classes and workshops with Lena Neudauer (Munich), Olga
Zolotareva (Ghent), Kevork Mardirossian (Bloomington) and
Christoph Schickedanz (Hamburg) supplement her training.
At the age of 10 Mirella had her first solo performance with
chamber orchestra (Bach concert in a Minor BWV 1041).
In 2016 she won her instrument at the ConTakt Junior
competition.
In 2016, 2017 and 2020 she won first prizes at the competition
“Jugend musiziert“.
In 2019 Mirella won the Grand Prix of all ages at the Hedwig Prize
International Competition for Young Violinists in Strzegom
(Poland).
Mirella has a rich festival experience. In 2017 she performed at the
Prelude Concert series in Berlin. In 2018 she played as a soloist at
the ArtDialog festival in Biel (Switzerland) and the festival Jovenes
Talentos de Europa in Madrid.
In 2019 she was a soloist at the Young Classic Dialog festival in
Berlin and at the “Moscow meets Friends” festival of the Vladimir
Spivakov Foundation in Moscow.
